Visual Activities and difficulties with Mobility

Remember, disability is a highly individualised experience. People with the same disability may have very different capabilities and/or needs, so it is always best to discuss any adaptations to practice, the environment or equipment directly with the disabled person themselves rather than making assumptions about what adjustments may be suitable.

Mobility difficulties are unlikely to affect the ability to participate in visual learning activities. The only consideration should be the venue where these visual learning activities take place. The venue should be accessible for people who are wheelchair users or have other forms of restricted movement. Avoid venues located upstairs, wherever possible, unless there is a lift.
